The Visual Presentation of Skateboarding's Spectrum
The FA store is nice.
Always love a good random board wall in restaurants, really...who hangs a Jaws deck!?
The first and only time I've worn a Converse. Vans for life bitch.
Toy Machine
Before watching what the Toy team had in store, had to stop in for some of those "like, you know what I mean" vibes that Guy carried in his EL episodes, as this was his hideout for a period of time.
Toy Machine presents Ad Astra!
or Programming Injection!
I yelled so loud when I saw Ed, and even louder when I saw him have two tricks in the video. Everyone came through and I think this is an underrated flick from TM.
I wish I had taken a picture, but waiting in line Atiba popped up in head to toe Supreme garb, hopping up the line to people he knew. He eventually cut right up front after frequently asking if he had to wait in line and Neen (who was in front of us) followed fast. Skin side down bitch!
Leaving in my truck, and passing the venue, I see Clive Dixon walking down the street. His Thrasher cover had just dropped with that noseblunt down Staples...so I yell out "Clive! Noseblunt! Staples! Siiiiickk!" expecting a laugh or something...instead he got all fired up and replied so enthusiastic "FUCK YEAH DUDE, FUCK FUCKING YEAHHHH YEAHHHHHHHH!!"
What a night, know what I'm mean?
Zero says "Damn it All"
Did a nice run to Encinitas for the Zero tour last fall...
"Soooo the video isn't really done, but I can play it off the timeline..."
It was exciting to be there, Gabbers went pro and closed the video. I haven't watched this video in a while, and even though we have a "finished product" it still comes off incomplete. Not sure what even happened, but if you lurk in the right places, you'll get some deets.
